What tank sizes does it work with?+
It works with all standard overhead and underground water tanks — from 500-litre tanks in apartments to 5,000+ litre tanks in independent houses. The filter attaches to the inlet pipe, so tank size doesn't matter — it filters water as it flows in.
Does it reduce water pressure?+
A clean bag filter has minimal effect on water flow. As the bag collects sediment over time, flow may slow slightly — that's your signal to clean or replace the bag. Regular rinsing (every 1–2 weeks depending on your water quality) keeps pressure normal.
How often do I need to clean or replace the bag?+
It depends on your water quality. In areas with heavy sediment (borewell, construction-heavy zones), clean weekly. In areas with municipal supply, every 2–4 weeks is usually enough. The bag is washable and reusable — replace it only when the fabric wears thin after months of use.
Will it make my water drinkable?+
It removes physical impurities — sediment, rust, debris, and particulates. For drinking water, you still need an RO or UV purifier at the kitchen tap for chemical and microbial purification. Think of the bag filter as Step 1 (whole-house sediment removal) and your kitchen purifier as Step 2 (drinking-grade purification).
Can I install it myself?+
