Does it fit all fan blade sizes?+
The flexible round design adjusts to fit standard Indian ceiling fan blades, table fan blades, pedestal fans, and exhaust fans. The brush opens wide enough for thick ceiling fan blades and narrows for thinner table fan blades. Check the product images for exact dimensions — it covers the vast majority of household fans.
Can it reach ceiling fan blades without a ladder?+
The brush itself is handheld — you'll still need to reach the fan blades. For standard 9–10 foot ceilings, standing on a sturdy stool or step ladder is needed. Some models come with or accept extension poles. The key advantage isn't height — it's that the brush wraps and cleans both sides without dust falling down.
Does dust really not fall down?+
The dense bristles trap dust inside the brush as you slide it along the blade — significantly less falls compared to wiping with a cloth where dust flies everywhere. For very thick, caked-on dust, some may dislodge, but the vast majority stays captured in the brush. Place a newspaper below for heavily dusty fans to catch any stray particles.
Can it handle greasy kitchen exhaust fan blades?+
Yes — spray a degreaser or apply soapy water to the blade first, then scrub with the brush. The bristles are stiff enough to scrub off sticky grease-and-dust buildup that forms on kitchen exhaust fans. You may need 2–3 passes on heavily greased blades. Wash the brush thoroughly after cleaning greasy fans.
How do I clean the brush after use?+
Shake out the collected dust over a dustbin first. Then rinse the brush under running water — the bristles release trapped dust easily when wet. For greasy residue, wash with soap. Squeeze out water and hang to dry. The brush is fully reusable and maintains its shape and dust-trapping ability through many washes.
